The degree is awarded with majors and minors chosen from the followiing subject areas:
  • Biochemistry
  • Biology
  • Chemistry
  • Computer Science
  • Ecology
  • Electronics
  • Information Technology
  • Mathematics
  • Meteorology
  • Microbiology
  • Physics

 

    
  • Double Majors in a single area combining any two of these subjects are allowed.
  • Double Majors or Major/Minor combination may include subject areas from other Faculties or example - Mathematics and Economics, Chemistry and Management.
 
 

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:
THREE YEAR PROGRAMME:
 Subjects at CXC (CSEC) General Proficiency/GCE O'Level

Five (5) CXC (CSEC) General Proficiency (Grades I-III) or Gce O'Level subjects.
Compulsory - English Language, Elementary Mathematics, two (2) approved Laboratory Science subjects.
Passes in at least two 2-Uite CAPE/GCE A'Level subjects or the equivalent.
NOTE: For entry to the Computer Science Options CAPE/A'Level Mathematics is required. For the Chemistry Option CAPE/A'Level Chemistry is required.

FOUR YEAR PROGRAMME:

Five (5) CXC (CSEC) General Proficiency (Grades I-III) or Gce O'Level subjects.
Compulsory - English Language, Elementary Mathematics.
Two (2) approved Science subjects or,
An approved Science subject and Additional Mathematics.
