The Budget Development Unit is responsible for the development of the budget and monitoring of same for the UGC funds (Governments' contributions, tuition fees, internally generated revenue) of the Mona Campus. This section ensures that expenditure for staff costs and operating expenses are kept within budget and that outflows from the Consultancy and Summer School funds are covered by income generated from these activities.

Monthly Budget Reports are sent to departments listing the approved budget amount, detailing income and expenditure per account number, showing the variance between actual and budget, and stating funds available.
