The band began playing at the University's graduation ceremony in 1998. We provide entertainment at the start and the end of the proceedings, as well as the music to which both the graduates and the University's dignitaries make their respective appearances.

Christmas Playout

     Each year since 1998, during the two weekends before Christmas day, the band plays at the Portmore Mall and the Sovereign Center for our charity. We play for approximately four hours during which we collect donations from the christmas shoppers. All proceeds go toward the Sir John Golding Rehabilitation Center.

Concert

     Unlike other on-campus societies who have their concert season toward the end of the school year, we usually have our season  within  the first  3 weeks of September. This is to facilitate maximum use of the summer holidays for practice. Preparation for the concert season usually begins from January, with the members seeing long hours and many late nights practicing during the summer.
