    Twin volcanic peaks form a dramatic backdrop, and a reminder of the seismic activity in Saint Lucia
    and the surrounding region. Its important agricultural industry has faced challenges from recurring hurricanes during the 1990s.

    Government Strategies


    Member of CDERA.

    Well developed emergency management infrastructure with a strong legal framework. Numerous projects have been implemented by government with the assistance of development partners.
