Mrs. Creary is a marine scientist with over twenty years experience working on various aspects of the Jamaican marine and coastal environment. She is presently the Environmental Data Manager of the Caribbean Coastal Data Centre of the Centre for Marine Sciences, UWI, where data from regional and local monitoring programmes are archived and managed.  Since 2000 she has been involved in the regional climate change initiatives (CPACC, ACCC and MACC projects) with responsibility for the assessment of the potential impacts of climate change on coral reefs and the marine environment; agriculture and food security; and water resources within the Caribbean region.  As part of the Mainstreaming Adaptation to Climate Change (MACC) project the she was responsible for implementing the expansion of the training and coral reef monitoring programme started under CPACC to the Eastern Caribbean during the period 2007-2009. She, along with her colleagues at the CMS, has also been involved in island wide coral reef monitoring and coral beaching studies and results were submitted to the GCRMN for inclusion in their bleaching and hurricane publication in 2008.
