In keeping with the established conventions, the Conference will have the normal format of a formal opening session followed by a reception on Friday evening then two days of presentations and discussions. The Chancellor and Vice Chancellor of the University of the West Indies as well as Ministers of Government have been asked to address the Conference. Additionally, a number of academics, policy makers, tertiary stakeholders and consultants on education issues have agreed to prepare papers under broad headings identified by the conference planning committee and arising from research already conducted by the tertiary education team of the Mona School of Business, Research and Policy Group. Presenters will have chosen specific titles based on the broad headings. These presentations will form the basis for interactive discussions on a number of panels established to facilitate the exchange of views among panel members and between panel members and members of the audience
