Quality assurance and regulation issues in tertiary education

by Phylbert Dhyll

Quality Assurance in tertiary education is a matter of great importance especially in light of technological advancement and globalization. With the emergence of new providers of tertiary level education and the development of new ways of delivering programmes the need for clear systems to ensure quality assurance cannot be overlooked.

This paper takes a comprehensive look at some quality assurance and regulation issues which need to be addressed in order for the economic, social, educational and political goals of the nation to be realized.
