Perspectivs on higher education

by Herbert Lewis

There is no question as to whether education, training and lifelong learning contribute significantly to promoting the interests of individuals, enterprises, the economy and society as a whole; especially when one considers the critical challenge of attaining full employment, poverty eradication, social inclusion and sustainable economic growth in the current global environment.

To this end, the issue of education in furtherance of Human Resource Development particularly in developing countries deserve greater attention now than ever.

In our pursuit of the development of Human resource through higher education understand that the purpose of education has much more relevance than purely giving them the means for upward mobility and success.
