The Opening ceremony of the 2004 Mona Academic Conference will be held on Friday August 27, 2004 from 6:00 p.m. -8:00 p.m. in the University Undercroft, Mona Campus, Kingston 7, Jamaica, W.I. Immediately following the Opening Ceremony, The Principal of the Mona Campus, will host a Reception at the Mona Visitors’ Lodge and Conference Centre. |

The Panel Discussions will be held on Saturday August 28, 2004 and Sunday August 29, 2004 from 9:00 a.m. to approximately 6:30: p.m. in the Social Sciences Lecture Theatre in the faculty of Social Sciences. Coffee Breaks and Lunch will be organized daily.
There will be no formal registration for persons wishing to attend the 2003 Mona Academic Conference. Interested persons are welcome to attend the conference and participate in the discussions which will follow each panel presentation that will take place in the Social Sciences Lecture Theatre of the Faculty of Social Sciences on August 28 and 29, 2004. Online registration is available for people wishing to register before the conference. We invite all our guests to sign the guest-book at Secretariat desk upon arrival. Teleconferencing Facilities We are pleased this year to announce that students and other interested persons residing in Trinidad & Tobago or Barbados will be able to watch the proceedings daily by teleconferencing at the St. Augustine and Cave Hill Campuses.
