Mr.
Adrian Tait is a Senior Manager in PriceWaterhouseCoopers’
Management and Financial Advisory Services practice. He has
over ten years experience in finance and cost management,
modeling and economic evaluation and international management
consulting with an emphasis on:
- cost of design, service tariff modeling and provision
of regulatory support for telecommunications entities
- design of performance measurement systems for a wide
range of entities
- conduct of management audits and strategy reviews including
organization design and restructuring
- development and documentation of operating and procedures
manuals
- development and implementation of systems of accounting
and control
Mr. Tait acted as the lead consultant in the provision of
technical assistance to a Task Force formed by the Minister
of Finance to determine the Economic Cost of UWI involving:
- a critical review of the current mechanism for determination
of economic cost
- a ten-year historical economic review of the different
elements of cost, compared with the general levels of prices
in the economy as reflected in the Consumer Price Index
- the benchmarking of the institution’s cost against
similar activities in the US, Canada and the UK (using exchange
rates and Purchasing Power Parity (PPP) rates as conversion
factors)
- the development of economically justifiable arguments
for the use of PPP conversion factors and other necessary
adjustments
