In keeping with the established conventions, the Conference will have the normal format of a formal opening session followed by a reception on Friday evening then two days of presentations and discussions. The Chancellor and Vice Chancellor of the University of the West Indies as well as Distinguished Fellow, The University of the West Indies, The Most Honourable Edward Seaga, ON, PC have agreed to address the Conference. Additionally, a number of academics, policy makers, and industry stake holders and tourism consultants have agreed to prepare papers under broad headings identified by the conference planning committee who consulted broadly with industry. Presenters will have chosen specific titles based on the broad headings. These presentations will form the basis for interactive discussions on a number of panels established to facilitate the exchange of views among panel members and between panel members and members of the audience.
