Professor Dianne Austin-Broos is a distinguished anthropologist possessing over 33 years of intensive field research. Her series of publications are partial testimonies to the wealth of knowledge contributed to the understanding of Jamaican society and culture.
Currently functioning as Professor at the University of Sydney, Australia, Professor Austin-Broos has also served as Visiting Fellow, Researcher and Professor at various universities in the United States, Europe and the Caribbean. Her trail of experience also encompasses the Institute of Social and Economic Studies (ISER) during the 1970s.
