The International Drama in Education Research Institute has, since its inception, been traditionally self-financing. Where needed, the University of the West Indies will be willing to provide letters to support applications to university departments, or UNESCO offices or other private foundations or funding agencies from where delegates may be seeking funding assistance.

Delegates are encouraged to liaise with colleagues to take advantage of double occupancy rates offered by the Pegasus Hotel in order to reduce subsistence costs. There is also a triple occupancy rate which student groups may be willing to consider in the interest of economy.
