Mentorship Programme

Staff mentoring a student

Leadership and management skills are important assets. Learn how to strengthen yours today.

The Mentorship Programme was designed to strengthen the leadership and management skills of students and to connect them with University and corporate leaders.

How the Programme Works

Each student is matched with a Mentor who provides professional and personal development counsel. The Mentor arranges for the student to attend executive meetings and provides opportunities for participation in community service projects or other voluntary activities. Opportunities are also provided for students to attend a company-sponsored social event and on other occasions to meet University academic staff and administrators representing faculties and departments related to the student's academic interest and career goals.

To be selected, student must be

  • Registered in a full-time degree programme;
  • In level II or Level III of their programme;
  • Between the ages of 18 and 25
