LS 30E - Management of Libraries
in Selected Environments
(3 credits)
This course will focus on the essential characteristics of the users,
services, management issues and trends associated with both Special
Libraries & Information Centres and University & Research
Libraries. It will highlight the impact of internal and external
factors on these libraries and the strategies which have been developed
for efficient organization and effective delivery of information
products and services. Special attention will be paid to management
of these libraries in the Caribbean.
Prerequisite: Passes in LS12A and LS12B
