This course will focus on the characteristics of information users in the Humanities, Social Sciences and Science & Technology, disciplines.

Learning Objectives

Students will have gained:

• an overview of the scope of information resources available to library users;
• an understanding of some of the models in information seeking, needs and behaviour.
• experience in evaluating reference resources in relation to the needs of specific users;
