Course Description
(3 credits)
This course will focus on the characteristics of
information users in the Humanities, Social Sciences and Science
& Technology, disciplines.
Learning Objectives
Students will have gained:
- an overview of the scope of information resources available
to library users;
- an understanding of some of the models in information seeking,
needs and behaviour.
- experience in evaluating reference resources in relation to
the needs of specific users;
Prerequisite: Pass in LS22A. |
