(3 credits)
This course will provide students with experience in planning, producing
and delivering multimedia presentations as well as the administering
of multimedia services. Students will gain familiarity with the
use of both computer presentation packages and traditional audiovisual
tools in creating effective presentations. The use of multimedia
authoring tools for electronic publishing, as well as the creation
of multimedia HTML documents for the World Wide Web will be explored.
Multimedia productions can make a most effective contribution to
information delivery and communication in the fields of management,
public relations, education and training , user orientation and
information retrieval.
