CSRG Meeting Update
Research & Publication
One of the main purposes of the working group is to engage in research and publications in the area of Sexuality. In keeping with this the CSRG has begun to explore the possibility of putting out Special Editions of existing journals.
Transgender Project
Among the project being undertaken this year is the male to female (M-F) transgender project. Over the period of one year members of the CSRG core group will work with a Jamaican M-F to provide psychological, psychiatric and medical support. The goal of the project is to prepare the individual for sex re-assignment surgery, which is to be completed overseas.
“The Sexual Issues in Integrated Practice professional training seminar”
The Sexual Issues in Integrated Practice professional training seminar is scheduled to be held on June 5th & 6th, 2009. The first day of the seminar is for Graduate Students and the second day is for Professionals. The seminar presenters are Drs. Susan Lee, Richard & Lawrence Siegel, all qualified and experienced Sex Therapists with additional expertise in a number of areas in the helping professions. Download the brochure.
