Diagnostic Test Information:

As a result of your not attending either of the two sittings of the UWI Mona English Language Proficiency Test for 2004/05 for undergraduate degree applicants, you will be required to sit an English Language Diagnostic Test. The cost of the test is $1200.00.

In order to determine your eligibility for the test you must visit the English Language Proficiency Test Unit in the Dept. of Language, Linguistics and Philosophy, Room 15, in the Faculty of Humanities and Education or call 927-1641 during the week of August 23 – 27, 2004.

REGISTRATION for the ENGLISH LANGUAGE DIAGNOSTIC TEST

REGISTRATION PROCEDURE

1. Register with the Test Unit in the Department of Language, Linguistics and Philosophy in the Faculty of Humanities and Education.
2. Go online to the Mona web page- www.uwimona.edu.jm
3. Click Online Student Registration System (OSRS)
4. Enter your UWI Id number the select the option Registration for the Diagnostic Test.
5. Follow instructions as directed

PAYMENT PROCEDURE

1. Go to any branch of the National Commercial Bank. Collect and complete a National Commercial Bank voucher for the PROFICIENCY EXAMINATION.
2. Pay $1200.00 by cash or Manager’s cheque only.
3. Proof of payment must be presented to the Test Unit in the Assembly Hall during the week of August 30 to September 3, 2004.

Students who do not register for the test with the Test Unit in the Department of Language, Linguistics and Philosophy, Room 16 in the Faculty of Humanities and Education, will not be allowed to sit the test.
