OBJECTIVES
  To give successful students a broader knowledge of the field of Computer Science, including some of the more modern developments within the field, and a more in-depth knowledge of one specialised area within the subject.
  Students will typically go on to research work, or take on technical positions within the local Information sector.

PROGRAMME STRUCTURE
  The programme will normally last one year full-time study or two years part-time study.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
  This course is for graduate who have an honours degree (1st or 2nd class) in Computer Science from a recognised institution.

CRITERIA FOR GRADUATION
  To graduate a student must do a total of 36 credits as follows: 
    7 courses @ 4 credits each = 28 credits
    a project @ 8 credits = 8 credits
