This page will track the development of "Blue Mountain", a Beowulf cluster of redundant PC's for use by the Department of Computer Science.

I hope to use the cluster to carry out research on the efficiency of parallel scientific applications on Beowulf architectures.

I also hope to develop a course on Parallel Programming and High Performance Architectures for students in the department of Computer Science based around access to the cluster.
