ECON2014 : Sampling Methods for Business and Social Sciences

Course Description

This course takes a more practical approach to sampling methods with an emphasis on survey techniques.  Students will learn how to apply different sampling technqiues, methods of data collection while going through the process of designing and conducting a survey. 


Course Assessment

The final grade for this course will be determined by :

  • 3 OurVLE Quizzes (5% each): 15%
  • Research Proposal (group work): 20%
  • Written Report - (group work): 35%
  • Final Exam: 30%
