Course description
This course complements the international trade theory course by exposing students to current issues in international trade policy. The emphasis is on the policy choices facing developing countries in the international trading system. Topics covered include: the role of the WTO; trade in goods, unfair trading practices; trade in services; trade related intellectual property rights; regionalism; trade and competition policy; trade and the environment and E-commerce.
The course is delivered by a combination of lectures and seminars
