Foreign Direct Investment (FDI)
This is an investment in a country involving a long-term relationship and control of an enterprise by non- residents. It is the sum of equity capital, reinvestment of earnings, other long-term capital and short-term capital.
Gross Fixed Capital Formation
This is measured by the total value of a producer's acquisitions, less disposals, of fixed assets during the accounting period plus certain additions to the value of non- produced assets realised by the productive activity of institutional units.
Official Development Assistance (ODA)
This represents grants or loans from multilateral agencies and donor countries to assist developing countries in their development process at concessional financial terms.
