About Examinations Section

The Examinations Section of the Mona Campus, University of the West Indies, located south of the Senate Building is a section of the Registry, operating under the direction of the Office of the Campus Registrar. This section is mainly responsible for: the conduct of examinations, processing and dispatching of transcripts and organizing the annual graduation ceremonies on behalf of the Campus Registrar.

Examinations

Examinations are held at the end of each semester, with three sessions daily. Additionally, there are Supplemental and Summer School examinations for two weeks between the last week of July and second week of August. All activities are streamlined and deadlines for the examination process have to be met.

Transcript

The preparation and dispatch of transcripts is an ongoing exercise accelerated between July and August/September when students and graduates are seeking employment and entry to various institutions, as well as applying for scholarships and bursaries.
