Guest Speaker

The Organising Committee of the 8th Conference is pleased to announce as our gust speaker, Dr. Kenneth W. Goodman.

Dr. Goodman, is the founder and director of the Forum for Bioethics and Philosophy at the University of Miami in Florida, and adjunct Professor in the University of Miami’s Departments of Medicine, and Philosophy. He has written numerous books and articles on the matter of medicine, computing, and ethics, and is a contributing editor to “Physician and Computers” and “MD Computing”.

Dr. Goodman has a Bachelors degree in Journalism from the University of Florida, a Masters’ in Theoretical Linguistics from the University of Essex (UK), and a doctorate in Philosophy from the University of Miami. His research interests include ethics and computing; epidemiology and public health; evidence-based practice and policy; genetics and bio- informatics; international research; and occupational and environmental health.
