Oral presentations
The time you have been allocated on the program includes questions - please allow at least 5 minutes for questions within the time allotted. Session speakers will be limited to 15 minutes plus 5 minutes questions. Plenary Lectures will be limited to 50 minutes plus 10 minutes for questions.
A PC with PowerPoint 2003, slide and overhead projectors are available in the lecture theatre. All speakers are encouraged to use computer projection. There will be limited facilities for personal computers to be used. Please save your file onto a jump drive, a floppy disk, a 100 Mb ZIP disk or a CD-ROM. Don't forget to check your fonts. We recommend you use Arial, Times and Symbol only. PowerPoint tip: if you have PowerPoint XP, click "Embed fonts".
Poster presentations
A suitable poster size is 1.5m by 1.5m.
Authors of poster-papers will be afforded 3 - 5 min. to present their work in one of two specially structured sessions.
