A Glimpse into FST's New Staff Orientation 2024

In a display of camaraderie, the Faculty of Science and Technology (FST) at The University of the West Indies, Mona (The UWI Mona), welcomed its newest members during an orientation session held on April 4, 2024. The event was charged with a shared vision of achieving excellence. The engaging presentation served as a gentle reminder to both seasoned individuals and fresh faces alike of the significance of being part of the FST-UWI family. The session also spoke to the importance of each colleague contributing to an atmosphere of unity and collaboration, emphasizing the power of teamwork in realizing FST's overarching vision of becoming the go-to place for Science Education, Training, Research, and Solutions. New staff in attendance were: Shelly Ann Stewart - Department of Life Sciences; Nickesha Williams - Department of Life Sciences;Elisa Campbell - Department of Life Sciences; Tevin Campbell - Department of Life Sciences; Dara Allen - Dean’s Office; Stephanie Williams - Department of Geography and Geology; Nashalee Harriott - Caribbean Centre for Research in BioScience; Robinson Julian Serna - Department of Mathematics; Tamia Bailey - Department of Geography and Geology; and Freddí Jackson - Dean’s Office.
