During the orientation period no first year is supposed to leave the campus without a senior's permission or that of the Student Services Development Manager. The committee must be informed of your whereabouts.

Freshettes must be conservative. The following clothing must not be worn:

  • Sleeveless blouses
  • Hats
  • Jewellery
  • Light and/or revealing clothes
  • Setters/ Curlers in hair (when in a public setting)
  • Slippers or any footwear that exposes the heels or toes

Where there are events, freshets must dress in the Mary Seacole shirt and long jeans (blue, black, or white) or the hall colours, unless told otherwise

  • Freshettes must be present at all orientation events
  • No visitors allowed
  • Walk with identification at all times
  • Follow rules concerning security and the general sanitation of the hall.
  • 'Quiet time begins at 11:00 p.m nightly and ends at 6:00 a.m unless stated otherwise'
