University Counselling Service (UCS) sponsors
the Peer Counselling programme.
Peer Counsellors are students trained to provide support,
information and referrals
for other students. They provide support by giving
students an opportunity to talk about
personal, social and educational
issues. Peer Counsellors facilitate
discussion groups
on a number of topics such as Self-Discovery, Singleness
and Interpersonal Relationships.
They also provide referrals to various agencies on campus
including the Counselling Unit.
