Imperialism since 1918

An analysis of the historical developments leading to the collapse of the colonial empires. Special focus will be placed on the colonial policies and practices of the imperial powers, and the positive impact of westernization and modernization. The forces contributing to the growth of nationalism throughout the colonial world and the process of decolonization and na- tional liberation will also be examined in depth.
