LA21A Law of Contract II
  1. General
This course will be taught in Year II as a core LL.B. degree programme.

2. Course Objective
The primary objective of this course is to examine the purpose and scope of
particular areas of the Law of Contract.

3. Course Content
i. Mistake
ii. Misrepresentation
iii. Illegality
iv. Breach of Contract
v. Frustration of Contract
vi. Remedies including quasi contractual remedies

4. Method of Teaching

This course will be taught by way of two lectures and one tutorial per week. Each lecture will be of one hour duration and the tutorial will also be of one hour duration.

5. Method of Assessment
This course will be assessed by way of a two-hour final examination at the end of the Semester. Students will be required to answer three questions selected from a total of six questions. The examination question paper may be divided
into two parts with students being required to answer one question from each part of the paper.
