1. General
The student must select this course or Comparative Law II. However,
a student
may choose both Public International Law II and Comparative Law II.
Public
International Law I is a prerequisite for this course.
2. Course Objective
This course builds on the knowledge of Public International Law I
and
introduces advanced topics of International Law.

iii. Jurisdiction
iv. Law of the Sea
v. Immunity from Jurisdiction
vi. State Responsibility
4. Method of Teaching
This course will be taught by way of two lectures and one tutorial
per week.
Each lecture will be of one hour duration and the tutorial will also
be of one hour
duration.
5. Method of Assessment
This course will be assessed by way of a two hour final examination
at the end
of the Semester in which it is taught. Students will be required to
answer two
questions selected from a total of four questions
