Mooting

Students have the opportunity to develop their written and oral advocacy skills through mooting. The International Mooting and Legal Methods Research and Writing courses provide formal opportunities for this training. Additionally, the Mona Law Society, with the encouragement and support of the Faculty, organizes a programme of mooting each year. The Faculty of Law at Mona has participated in a number of international moot court competitions including the Caribbean Court of Justice Moot Court, the Frankfurt Investment Arbitration Moot Court, the Inter-American Human Rights Moot Court, the International Criminal Court Moot, the Phillip C Jessup International Law Moot Court and the Price Media Moot Court Competition.
