The Reserve Book Collection (RBC) is a collection
of items recommended by lecturers from undergraduate reading lists.
RBC aims to provide necessary reading material to large numbers
of students. Multiple copies are purchased for courses with large
number of students. RBC collectons are in a closed stack and items
are fetched by staff upon the filling up of an request form. Material
in this collection can be searched in the Online Public Access
Catalogue by Lecturer Name and Course Code in addition to access
points such as author, title and call number.
RBC Loans are of two types:
Reading Room (Three hour loan) to be used in the Library only
. Fine are charged at $20.00 per hour.
Overnight loans due at 9.30 am in the morning. Fines are calculated
at $ 50.00 per day.
Users are allowed only 3 RBC loans at a time.
