The Major in Botany
Aims to enable students to gain detailed knowledge of selected aspects of the plant sciences through practical and theoretical studies and to foster the desire for their continued exploratory investigations in the plant sciences.

 

PART I   LEVEL I

A Major in Botany requires a minimum of 24 credits from Part I and must include:

(in addition BC10M/BIOC1011 Introductory Biochemistry # is highly recommended)

Part II  Level II

A total of 32 credits from Part II which must include:

PART II   LEVEL III
 

8 credits from Advanced Level 'BT/BOTN' courses and 8 credits from Advanced Level 'BT/BOTN' or 'BL/BIOL' Courses.

Some Level II courses may have to be taken together with Level III courses.
