Horticultural Science Research Laboratory

The Horticultural Science Research Laboratory is conducting research on tropical and sub-tropical fruits and vegetables. Our research activity focuses on three topics, the Postharvest Physiology and Biochemistry of tropical Fruits, the Biological Active Phytonutrients of Jamaican Fruits and Plants, and the Fructan Metabolomics in Liliaceous Plants. Each topic is funded by its own research projects and managed by the personnel that are actively pursuing the different and diverse research of the Topics.
