MSc Plant Production and Protection

Entry Requirements

This programme will be beneficial to persons who are or intend to become involved in any aspect of plant production. Specific target groups are:

  • Agricultural and horticultural entrepreneurs
  • Farm, nursery, greenhouse, garden and forest managers or supervisors
  • Extension officers
  • Agricultural and horticultural researchers
  • Suppliers of agricultural and horticultural inputs
Entrants are normally required to have obtained a B.Sc. (honours) degree in biological or agricultural science from a recognized institution.

Programme Details

The course duration is 5 semesters and will be offered on evenings and weekends.
