Tropical Ecosystem Assessment and Management*
This programme, which is hosted under the M.Sc. Natural Resources Management umbrella, is designed as a "toolbox" for biologists working as part of a team of environmental managers. It is designed to provide a biologist with the necessary tools to conduct specific tasks in a team of environmental managers viz. collection, analysis and presentation of ecosystem data, identification of thresholds of ecosystem use, biological interventions for conserving species and habitats, and interpretation of ecosystem characteristics for the general public.

4 hours of lectures per week (5:30 - 7:30 on Tuesdays & Thursdays) plus 6 hours of lab on Saturdays. |

Pre-requisite: |
B.Sc. honours degree in a biological discipline from a recognized university. |
