(2) Single, Double and Joint Majors
A single major may be obtained by securing 32 credits in
Level II and Level III courses from a single subject area
e.g. Botany, Chemistry or Zoology.
A double major may similarly be obtained by securing 64
credits in Level II and Level III courses from a single
subject e.g. Zoology or Botany.
By correctly choosing courses, the student
may obtain a degree with two majors jointly held in two
subject areas. This constitutes a joint major. Examples
are Botany and Chemistry, Zoology and Biochemistry, Zoology
and Botany.
