A comprehensive examination of Walcott's poetic achievement with close study of selected works. Attention will be paid to form and style as well as content.
Prerequisite: LITS 2004 (E20D) or LITS 2503 (E25C) or LITS 2706 (E27F)
Instruction: 2 lectures, 1 tutorial per week
Evaluation: 2 coursework essays/textual analyses 40%
Final 2-hour examination (2 answers) 60%
