The Office of Student Services
sees learning and development as continuous processes that
happen inside and outside of the classroom. One of the philosophies
governing the operations of the department is that students
must experience challenges, balanced by an ethic of care,
to enhance effective learning. However, it is a seamless approach
to cognitive and affective learning that will produce the
desired totally developed or rounded graduate, prepared for
citizenship.
Thus, the Office of Student Services is committed to collaborate
with students, faculties and other departments to enhance
student learning and development through structured and unstructured
programmes. The programmes are through the Office of the Director,
the Halls of Residence, Placement and Career Unit, the Sports
Unit and Clubs and Societies.
