Dear Member of the UWI Community,

Join us in congratulating our Postgraduate Students debate team who are six-time Debate Champions!

The debates were held in Cave Hill, Barbados. The team from The UWI Mona Campus defeated teams consisting of The UWI Open Campus and The UWI Cave Hill Campus in the first two (2) rounds, before defeating the Cave Hill Campus, once more in the finals.

This win continues the streak for the 6th consecutive time. The team that travelled to Barbados consisted of debaters: Krystal Tomlinson, who was awarded best speaker; Sandre Rhoden, the Coach; Sayeed Bernard and Kijana Johnson, Mona Association of Postgraduate Students (MAPS) President.
