Mr. Nelson served the UWI with distinction for many years, first being appointed in the Faculty of Education in 1983 and later Assistant Registrar in the Examinations Section in 1996. He was promoted to Senior Assistant Registrar in 2006, in which capacity he served until his passing.
His administrative abilities, dedication and his commitment to excellence are but some of the attributes which warmed him to the hearts of both students and staff alike. A thanksgiving service will be held on Thursday, July 30, 2009 at 1:30 p.m. at the University Chapel, Mona Campus.
