The first semester season of intramural sports commenced with badminton on September 14, 2008. Chancellor brought home victory for the males and Rex followed suit for the females. Lawn Tennis quickly followed on September 19 with Rex and Chancellor maintaining their winning trend. In the Ring Road relays, Taylor Hall dominated, winning in both male and female divisions. Excitement was created when Chancellor, the original contender for first place male, was disqualified from the 5 x 1 relays. The other scheduled competitions, swimming and volleyball, were successfully staged and were flocked by the usual enthusiastic hall supporters.
