UWI
HARP offers a wide range of services across the three campuses.
Workshops
/ Training:
UWI HARP can organize and conduct workshops for your group
/ organization on a range of topics, namely,
1. Sensitization workshops for different target groups, example,
adolescents, young adults, and in different settings, example,
school, college, workplaces etc. Duration: these can be tailor-made
for each organization and can range from short sessions of
an hour each or a full day's session.
2. Grant writing workshops where the participants will learn
all about the skills of grant writing and will have hands-on
experience of writing a grant in response to a request for
application. Duration: 2 days
3. Policy implementation workshop which guides the participants
in the steps towards implementation of policy at the workplace.
Barriers and facilitators in the process will be identified.
Duration: 2 days
4. Teaching methodologies targeting behaviour change which
focuses on four sub-themes like behaviour change, teaching
methodologies, sexuality and life skills. Targeted towards
health educators and teachers, participants will understand
the behaviour change process in different target groups and
effective teaching methodologies. Duration: 3 days

Resource
persons / Collaborations:
UWI HARP provides consultancies on projects related to HIV
/AIDS. Members of UWI HARP also serve on a number of multi
sectoral committees including, governmental, nongovernmental
organizations. UWI HARP team members also serve as resource
persons for workshops, meetings on a diverse range of topics.

centre:
Mona – Located at the UWIHARP offices, the resource
centre has background documents on a diverse range of HIV
