About Us
The UWI-WJC is located across from the Sangster International Airport, overlooking the Caribbean Sea, and close proximity to the city centre.
In recognition of the growing demand for tertiary level educational institutions of distinction in Western Jamaica, and in keeping with its strategic objectives for 2007-2012, the UWI plans to establish a campus in Montego Bay, Jamaica. The Western Jamaica Campus (WJC) will commence operations in August 2008 beginning with programmes specially designed to reflect the areas of significant growth and development in Western Jamaica.
