The University of the West Indies, Mona Campus, in partnership with Guardian Life Limited, is pleased to announce the fourth staging of the biennial UWI/GLL Premium Teaching Lecture Series.

This year’s UWI/GLL Premium Teaching Lecture is “Developing Critical Thinkers for Today’s Global Society: Contributions from Learner-Centred Teaching” and the Guest Lecturer is Prof. Maryellen Weimer, Pennsylvania State University (Professor Emeritus).

Prof. Weimer is a modern day Guru on Learner-Centered Teaching. Her expertise is evident by her many published works and in particular the book Learner–Centered Teaching: Five Key Changes to Practice.
