Dr. Brodie Walker is a licensed counseling psychologist who received her doctoral degree from Howard University in Washington, DC. She has over 17 years of clinical training in both Jamaica and the USA; her areas of specialties are at-risk/delinquent children and adolescents. Her other subspecialty is in Eating Disorders management having also completed a post-doctoral internship at The Renfrew Center in Florida.
Dr. Brodie Walker is the current head of the Psychology Unit of the Department of Sociology, Psychology and Social Work at the University of the West Indies (UWI), Mona Campus and lectures at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. She is also the coordinator of the MSc. Clinical Psychology Programme.
Dr. Brodie Walker’s areas of interest includes adolescent disorders, i.e. conduct disorder, oppositional defiant disorder and eating disorders; adolescent developmental issues and juvenile delinquency, specifically factors that impact juvenile delinquency. She specializes in treating adolescents.
