In August 2011, members of the supervisory and management team attended a leadership workshop facilitated by Dr. Trevor Little of HRD Profiles, where the focus was on Care Management and Emotional Intelligence. Participants got the opportunity to carry out introspection and put measures in place to build capacity in order that productivity would have increased in the upcoming academic year.

The UWI, Mona ranks first in Jamaica among accredited tertiary-level programmes. In 2012, the University was again one of Jamaica’s Top 100 Employers.
